BABSL high pressure rotary seals, available in metric and imperial sizes suit a wide variety of applications

They are pressure resistant and designed to work without a back-up ring and are rated up to 10 bar (depending on other operating conditions)

Double lip, spring-loaded design with inner metal case for strength

Provides lubricant retention from the spring loaded primary lip and light dirt exclusion from the secondary lip

Rubber cover over metallic core for an excellent combination of sealing ability and corrosion resistance

The rubber elastomer outer covering tolerates thermal expansion as well as roughness in the housing bore

Because of the rubberized covering on the seal, there will be no fretting/galvanic corrosion of the metal bore that the seal is pressed into

Particularly suitable for sealing low viscosity and gaseous media

Typical applications: rotational pressure sealing in hydraulic pumps, hydraulic motors, hydrodynamic couplings

Available in Nitrile 72 Shore A, Viton® and HNBR rubber compounds
