Urethane Auxiliary Bearing Block Open-Ended Covers

End covers are available in both open-ended and closed-ended styles and are designed to fit both standard and customized Timken spherical roller bearing block units

All auxiliary covers bolt directly onto the bearing block units

This bolt-on cover is made from durable urethane rubber, however steel covers are also available. The steel versions are black-oxide treated for added corrosion resistance in most instances. Nickel plating is available on certain select sizes

The CV covers are for Timken QV bearing block units that employ V-Lock® shaft collars

This open-ended urethane cover can be ordered with either a DR nitrile triple lip or VR V-ring nitrile seal

The low speed triple lip DR seal can move within the cover opening to accommodate misalignment while maintaining full contact to the shaft for positive sealing. This seal type is default on HSY backing plates

The high speed V-ring VR seal rides on two surfaces. It seals both axially and radially. This seal type is default on UFP backing plates

Every cover is outfitted with a grease fitting to fill the cover cavity with grease for an added barrier against contamination
