  • Larger diameter sprockets are flame or induction hardened to Rockwell C25-40.
  • The depth of hardness is strictly controlled, ensuring proper hardness of the tooth working area yet maintaining a strong tooth core.
  • Specially made sprockets can be manufactured to your unique specifications.
  • RBL sprockets are produced from quality steel and meet or exceed ANSI standards.
  • Welding tip: When attaching any weld-on hub to a plate sprocket, place 3 small tack welds in a triangular pattern and let cool. Check for accuracy, then weld the remainder in the same pattern so the sprocket does not torque from the heat, causing wobble on the shaft after installation
