    Product Description

  • Make your own split sprockets by welding your type A plate sprocket to the Split-to-Bolt hub.
  • Bore the shaft to size, and cut the unit in half so it can be installed without having to slide down the shaft.
  • These are currently solid as a one piece unit from the factory.
  • Designed to fit Y-series sprockets with a 2-3/4" bore.
  • Welding tip: When attaching any weld-on hub to a plate sprocket, place 3 small tack welds in a triangular pattern and let cool. Check for accuracy, then weld the remainder in the same pattern so the sprocket does not torque from the heat, causing wobble on the shaft after installation
