    Product Description

  • These rings look exactly like their HO counterpart except they have a 15º angle on the outer edge. This combines with a complementary groove angle to eliminate end play by wedging itself between the groove and the retained part
  • With regards to the VHO series retaining rings, only the black phosphate coated (VHO-PA) rings are listed in this database, however other finishes are available upon special request

    Alternate Finishes Available:
  • (VHO-H) Stainless Steel - PH 15-7 Mo is an extra strength corrosion-resistant stainless steel, capable of preventing atmospheric oxidation at temperatures up to 900º F
  • (VHO-ZD) Yellow Zinc Dichromate - It affords the metal excellent salt spray protection (96 hours) and is particularly effective for applications exposed to seawater. This retaining rings zinc plated finish utilizes a mechanical plating process which effectively eliminates hydrogen embrittlement
  • (VHO-Z3X) Trivalent Chromate Zinc Plus Sealer
