    PLAIN FINISH CARBON STEEL CHAIN

  • Cut-to-length chain sizes are available upon special order
  • Chain sizes 35 ~ 60H are supplied with spring clip connector links whereas size 80 and larger are supplied with cottered connector links in the box
  • Multiple-strand widths are available in most sizes

    HZ RIVETED & COTTERED SERIES CHAIN
  • HZ series chain has the same dimensions as ANSI-standard heavy series chain
  • The "Z" designates through-hardened pins that are utilized for higher working load capacities and additional resistance to fatigue in heavy load applications
  • Ballized pin-plate, middle-bar and bushing-plate holes made to precision tolerances provide increased bearing area and press fits, improving fatigue life and working loads
  • Wide-waisted link plates are manufactured with maximized ball height from special alloy steels for added strength. The wide link plate profile improves stress distribution, leading to improved fatigue resistance and enhanced performance
  • Multiple-strand widths available in all pitch sizes listed below
  • Riveted endless construction standard/suggested for certain applications
  • Size 264 chain is produced with a heavy series side plate (0.375 in. thick plate material) and a larger diameter pin, which provides greater bearing area and improved wear life. 264 chain will fit on the same sprockets as 200H

    CONNECTING LINKS
  • Standard connecting links are used when roller chain is operating under normal conditions
  • Spring-clip style connecting links are used for sizes 60H and smaller denoted by "S/C CO LINK"
  • Sizes 80 ~ 180H typically use a single special hardened "Sheppards" hook cotter pin denoted by "CT CO LINK SH"
  • Traditionl dual split cottered key connector links are also available in select chain sizes denoted by "SPL END CK"
  • Coated T-pins are used on chain sizes 200, 240 and 264 denoted by "CT CO LINK"
  • For severe applications, press fit connecting links are suggested denoted by "PF CO LINK"
