    Product Description

    NICKEL PLATED CHAIN (NP)

  • Nickel-plated chain is designed to resist rusting from incidental contact or exposure to water or water-based washdown operations
  • All components are identical to our carbon steel components with the addition of electroless nickel plating being applied prior to assembly. This plating provides initial coverage of all exposed carbon material and provides uniform and comprehensive protection to all surfaces
  • Special attention is placed on the afterplating processes to help remove the possibility of hydrogen embrittlement which is a common occurrence in lesser-quality chain produced by other manufacturers
  • Nickel-plated chain is equal in strength and wear life to plain our carbon steel chain

    OFFSET LINKS
  • Offset links are used when the chain length is an odd number of pitches; however, their fatigue strength is lower than standard chain links
  • Using offsets should be avoided when possible
