The SHM also functions like an SH retaining ring, but in "smaller" applications. It is also a tamper proof ring which does not have any lugs and can not be easily removed once installed

With regards to the less common SHM series retaining rings, only one size of the available 12 sizes is listed in this database and only in black phosphate. This is done so you are made aware that they are available for order should circumtances demand these types of retaining rings be installed in your machinery. As well, other finishes in this same series are available upon special request

(DC-H) Stainless Steel - PH 15-7 Mo is an extra strength corrosion-resistant stainless steel, capable of preventing atmospheric oxidation at temperatures up to 900º F
