The SHR series is an extra thick version of the standard SH series retaining rings. As such, it is stronger and can withstand greater thrust loads than its standard counterpart

With regards to the SHR series retaining rings, only the black phosphate coated (SHR-PA) rings are listed in this database, however other finishes are available upon special request

Alternate Finishes Available:

(SHR-H) Stainless Steel - PH 15-7 Mo is an extra strength corrosion-resistant stainless steel, capable of preventing atmospheric oxidation at temperatures up to 900º F

(SHR-ZD) Yellow Zinc Dichromate - It affords the metal excellent salt spray protection (96 hours) and is particularly effective for applications exposed to seawater. This retaining rings zinc plated finish utilizes a mechanical plating process which effectively eliminates hydrogen embrittlement
