    Product Description

  • Speed nuts are used to retain light to medium loads. Threaded type assemble faster than ordinary hex nuts and are used to secure fasteners where clearance for a regular nut is not available. Push on types are used on unthreaded shafts, studs or other light load clamping applications. Flat type is used with machine screws and sheet metal screws. One piece, heat treated spring steel self-locking fastener. Formed type speed nut is used with machine screws and sheet metal screws. Two types, ‘U´ and ‘J´, press into locked on position over panel edge or in centre-panel location. Bare finish fasteners have low corrosion resistance and are a good choice for automotive, indoor and industrial applications.
