Product Description
Polyacrylate (Lip code: N) are well suited for use with extreme pressure (EP) lubricants and have higher resistance to oxidation and ozone than nitrile.
Resistant to sulphur commonly used as a grease additive.
Polyacrylate elastomers have good compatibility with higher temperatures up to 149°C (300°F), and even to 177°C (350°F) with some fluids.
They should not be used alongside water or other aqueous solutions.
Does not perform at temperatures below -40°C (-40°F)
Polyacrylates are not recommended for dry running applications.Many of Nationals metal cased seals are offered with Redi-Coat® rubberized coating which is applied over the seals bare metal case and helps fill in any minor bore imperfections upon installing the new seal.Please note that not all product images are representative of the item being shown but are similar in appearance.
