3/4"-10 Perma-Thread® Replacement STI Thread Tap 1428-112

Repair kits contain inserts, tap and installation tools.

Inserts also available in standard packages

Repair defective, stripped or damaged threads quickly and permanently.

These inserts are made of diamond shaped stainless steel wire formed into a spiral screw thread coil.

They form a thread which is stronger than the original tapped material.

The resilient quality of the insert allows it to adjust to eliminate stress concentration.

The Perma-Thread® insert restores the hole to its initial size - a bolt or screw of the original size can be used for reassembly.
