    Product Description

  • Polyacrylate (Lip code: N) are well suited for use with extreme pressure (EP) lubricants and have higher resistance to oxidation and ozone than nitrile.
  • Resistant to sulphur commonly used as a grease additive.
  • Polyacrylate elastomers have good compatibility with higher temperatures up to 149°C (300°F), and even to 177°C (350°F) with some fluids.
  • They should not be used alongside water or other aqueous solutions.
  • Does not perform at temperatures below -40°C (-40°F)
  • Polyacrylates are not recommended for dry running applications.

  • Rubber cover over a metallic core offers an excellent combination of sealing ability and corrosion resistance.
  • The rubber elastomer outer covering tolerates thermal expansion as well as roughness in the housing bore.
  • Because of the rubberized covering on the seal, there will be no fretting/galvanic corrosion of the metal bore that the seal is pressed into.
